Fictional Case Study
Context: This course is primarily designed for university faculty, assessment coordinators and instructional designers who are responsible for developing and implementing assessment strategies.
Challenges: Educators are motivated by the need to improve student engagement, streamline grading processes, and stay current with innovative assessment practices. However, they face challenges such as:
o Limited familiarity with AI technologies.
o Concerns over potential biases and ethical issues.
o Resistance to change from well-established traditional methods.
Solution: The course is delivered entirely online and is self-paced. It is optimized for both desktop/ laptop and mobile devices, ensuring accessibility for faculty who may engage with the content in various settings from formal offices to remote or on the go environments. Participants can expect a practical, scenario-based learning experience that combines theory with interactive application.
Results: This eLearning self-paced course offers learners with actionable strategies, clear guidelines, and hands-on experience in using generative AI to design and refine assessments.
